Marcy Spaulding is a unique blend of adventurous spirit, humanitarian
soul, and sensitive psychology. Her Peace Corps memoir, all written
as it was happening, is full of the expected interesting tales,
but also contains unexpected emotional honesty and intensity. We probably
all wonder how we would manage as the lone foreigner in a small village,
trying to understand a language and traditions so different from our own.
Dancing Trees shows us that the experience can be lonely, distressing and
confusing, as well as humorous, eye-opening, and exhilarating.

Sensitive Child.
