A charming story about a little girl, Christina, and her friend Little Red Bird. The story takes place in a small village in the middle of a forest. Christina shows the village children the nest Little Red Bird had made with two tiny eggs. The children are thrilled, but a disaster looms and the Little Red Bird saves the village. A surprise awaits the whole village and everyone thanks Little Red Bird.

About the author...

Elizabeth "Bette" Peterson has many years of experience teaching regular and Special Education students. As a result of her teaching, she developed BEGINNING READING AT HOME for children 3-6 years which has had 8 printings and is sold world-wide. This was followed by BEGINNING MATH AT HOME.

Bette is an active member of Valley Independent Publishers, an organization that encourages local authors and publishers to devise creative ways to market their books. She is an avid traveler and has visited over 40 countries -- mostly on study programs visiting schools and talking with students.
